FAMILY FORUM MEETING IN CLIFDEN

We hosted a Family Forum face to face meeting in Clifden on Wednesday, 17th December at the Criost Linn Day Service.  Thanks to Breda Joyce and staff team  for hosting the event in the service there!

Julie Silke Daly gave an overview presentation to the familes and covered topics such as the current Governance and Management of the organisation, Regionalisation, MDT, Nursing services, delivery of the Strategic Plan 2025-2030, opening of new services and a view of the 2026 challenges.  Families were able to ask questions, give their suggestions and interact with Julie and her staff team.  A key challenge in relation to Clifden is the geographical location and the fact it is so far away from our other services. With the apppointment of Mary Foyle as Director of Operations West, who is from Clifden it is welcome news to the community to have local senior support. It was agreed that we will visit Clifden again in three months time and have another meeting with the Leadership Team, families and persons supported and some of our Advocacy Team.
