About the Role:
In this role you will:
Implement individualised care plans based on assessed needs and multidisciplinary input.
Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards (e.g. HIQA).
Support and monitor staff adherence to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and safeguarding policies.
Participate in audits, incident reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure documentation and records meet professional and legislative standards.
Contribute to risk assessments and safety planning.
Uphold infection control, health & safety, and medication management policies.
Communicate effectively with families, advocates, and external agencies.
Promote a culture of openness, dignity, and respect.
Ensure a highest professional standard using Individual Personal Outcomes Plan and Key Worker System.
Assist the people supported in accessing public services such as medical services, public transport and other related services.
Is this you?
Do you:
Have a Nursing qualification RNID/RGN/RSCN at level 8 validated for working in the Republic of Ireland and registered with Irish Nursing & Midwifery Board (NMBI)
Have relevant post graduate experience working with adults and children with disabilities and their families (desirable)
Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role (essential)
Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development
Possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of children and adults with complex needs
