More Amazing News!!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to:

Jerryn Fatima (Croílár Hub), Daniel Goldrick (Snipe Day Service) & Conal Whitmarsh (SSDL) on successfully completing the groundbreaking CUMAS Programme at University of Galway!

Last Thursday, they proudly received their certificates during a special celebration at the Institute for Lifecourse and Society, marking an incredible achievement in their educational journey.

The CUMAS Programme is an inclusive education initiative designed for students with intellectual disabilities, providing opportunities to fully participate in university life through learning, volunteering, work experience, and social activities. Throughout the programme, students develop valuable skills in personal development, communication, technology, disability rights, community participation, and work readiness, while building confidence, independence, friendships, and pathways towards future goals.

Jerryn, Daniel and Conal's success is a wonderful reflection of their dedication, hard work, and commitment. Their achievement also highlights the importance of inclusive education and the positive impact it has in creating greater understanding of the talents, abilities, and potential of people with intellectual disabilities.

Everyone at Ability West is immensely proud of you. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment and we wish you every success in the future!
