Memorial DS1

Christy St George

On Friday June 25th a service of celebration was held to honour the late Christy St George. Christy worked and volunteered with Ability West for over forty years. The CEO and Chairman of Ability West thanked the St. George family for their generosity to Ability West, by providing a special memorial at St. Joseph’s Tra……ining Centre, where Christy spent most of his working life. This is a very fitting location and will serve as a lasting reminder to all who loved and worked with him.Photo taken at the unveiling of the Memorial St Joseph’s Training Centre, Galway.Left to Right Páraic Lawless, James St George, Breda Crehan-Roche, Minister Eamon O Cuiv.

Camino

Trek The Camino

The Route
Going through the hills of Galacia, this trip could be physically demanding and would
require a reasonable level of fitness. It takes one week to complete, walking approximately
21 kms per day and the trail is a combination of small country roads, stone footpaths and
well maintained compact dirt tracks with no st…eep climbs or treacherous descents.
It is strenuous enough to give a sense of achievement at the end of each day without being
exhausted!
