Events Calendar

We rely on fundraising to sustain & support our ongoing capital programme.  

Ability West has always operated a busy fundraising programme and we are very appreciative of the time and generosity provided by our many supporters.

Fundraised monies unless otherwise specified by the donor is used towards our capital programme. This programme includes new builds, extensions and refurbishments of existing buildings, the purchase of specialised equipment and buses/minibuses. Fundraised monies are vital so that we can continue to provide high quality services and supports to children and adults with an intellectual disability and autism. No funds raised are utilised for salary purposes.

For example, during 2016, fundraising enabled us to purchase two minibuses and also carry out significant refurbishments of both day and residential centres.

Ability West is very grateful to supporters and the general public for their generosity. We are committed to ensuring we live up to our reputation as a respectful, honest, transparent and open organisation, and we aim to continue to achieve the highest standards in fundraising practice. Ability West listens and responds to the views of the general public and our supporters so that we can continue to improve and we welcome both constructive criticism and positive feedback.
