With an audience of nearly 500 , over 70 models, over 26 performers and over €7,000.00 raised it’s safe to say that the Ability West Fashion Show proved itself to be an all-round success this year. The Fashion Show which took place on Thursday March 23rd in the Clayton Hotel in Galway celebrated its fifth year in style with plenty of glitz and glamour as the models strutted their stuff on the catwalk. The audience were kept entertained and enthralled as they watched solo and group performances that ranged from tin whistle to singing and standup comedy to dancing.

The rain certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits on Thursday March 9th as the Connacht Clan (Connacht Rugby Official Supporters Club) held their annual Table Quiz in Murty Rabbitts on Forster Street in aid of Ability West who were there chosen charity for this year’s event. The action kicked off at 6pm with a live outside broadcast of “Over the Line” sports show with John Mulligan on Galway Bay FM.
